THE ELECTRIC AFFAIR

The New Female Frontier

In 2006, after a year of spinning in the Bay Area as a whole she decided that it was time for her to be more active in spinning in her LGBT community. Once she made that decision, she was recruited by DJ Olga T and Ms. Christina of Butterfly Productions. She was very excited about the timing and accepted the opportunity. In the same year she started to spin for Pink Panties under the direction of Mack Misstress.

Artist Pick Of The Month:Qui510

Qui510 (pronounced Key Five Ten) first made international noise as Sony Music Group’s [Europe] recording artist “TriQui Di”, who from an early age laid her foundation as a Rapper/Emcee & Break Dancer while singing in her church & school choirs. Wanting to fuse her rhyming and singing skills together, Qui became one of the first women on the scene to put together an exciting show that featured her rapping, singing and dancing. Her unique style and flair made her a favorite in talent shows, open mic competitionss, concert halls, clubs, festivals and various other events in the talent filled Mecca of The San Francisco Bay Area and abroad.

Mack Misstress

Review by REX STONE
In the game of hip-hop you certainly have to do a lot to be original because there are so many artist that think outside the box. If Mack Mistress was able to hit the mainstream then Missy Elliot better start looking for a new job. This San Francisco Bay Area native is the answer to the age old question can female emcees spit just as hard and deliver like the boys, well with the release of “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” we definitely have an answer. This west coast representative is not playing any games with her quick delivery, ability to change style from one song to the next and then spit a hot 16 that would make Source Magazine want to post them!
